REGALIZ IS IN THE HOUSE!!!

Well, I finally got some sunny weather and some time to make the new line of Regaliz Greek licorice leather bracelets.  They are absolutely yum.  Very chic, upscale stylish and very affordable as well.  These are very solid bracelets - when you wear one you can feel and see the quality of all of the components.

They're also very colorful - I have just ordered white and aqua colored leathers, and will be ordering metallic bronze, natural (light tan), pale pink, violet and gray.  I am also looking at the flat leathers to make wrap type bracelets and the 5mm to 2mm cords to make layered, beaded cuffs.  But that is in the future.  If the 11 bracelets I have listed sell well, then I will go ahead with the wraps and beaded layer cuffs.

I CAN'T WAIT...

for Spring!!!!  Winter is about mid-way but I have been tired of it since it started.  Blech.  I am most definitely not a cold weather person.  Everything is so drab and barren - the trees are naked and the wind howls icy mists.  It has been raining, off and on, for a week now and if it were just a smidgen colder we would have lots of snow - so sparkling and pristine in the morning sun but ugly, dirty black after a day, and oh! what joy to shovel.  More blech, with a good dash of ick. 

 

So what I like to do is lose myself in my beads - I spread their bright and cheerful colors out on my bed, crank up the ipod and make bead sets and bracelets, all with spring in mind.  But it's hard sometimes as my motivation tends to shine or dim with the weather - sunny days see me anxious to mix and match, whereas gray days usually find me unwilling to get out from under my snug and cozy covers. 

 

But I did have a few hours of sun for exactly 1/2 day last week, and I did get myself bead busy.  I haven't made many sets yet, but I tried to make at least 1 in each color.  These sets are different from what I usually offer - they have less lampwork and more bling - 7 beads in all, 2 more beads than ususal.  I have tried to keep them affordable, but they will be a little more pricey because the bling type beads cost more and as stated, there are 2 more beads in the set.  And actually, if you already have a bracelet, these sets are nice enough to make a new bracelet without adding any extra beads, unless, of course, you want to.

INTRODUCING...

Pugster's new Faberge Egg Collection!  These beads are all just downright gorgeous - all have the usual to-be-expected attention to detail and there are some wonderful Spring holiday themes. My supply is limited on these beads so if you definitely want one or more for your collection be sure to shop early before they disappear!

And finally, I have now received all the Regaliz supplies I ordered and will start to make my new line of Regaliz Greek leather bracelets - I am very excited about these, they are so chic and uber cool -  a definite must have if you're into leather!

 

That's all for now - I wanted to touch base with y'all as I've been mia for a bit.  But now that the holidays have passed and the shop has slowed down I can get back to what I love best - creating something beautiful and unique.
